Q: This sounds too good to be true. Is it really possible to make 12 meals in 2 hours? A: Yes it is! We do all the time-consuming prep work of chopping, grating, dicing, slicing and cleaning up, so you can assemble the dishes to your family's tastes in just minutes. We do the shopping, chopping and clean-up; you do the final assembly and cooking.
Q: How much cooking exerience do I need to have? A: No prior cooking experience is needed. Our step-by-step instructions make it easy for anyone to prepare wonderful meals. Supper Sensations associates are available during the sessions to provide assistance if needed and if you have any questions regarding cooking after you get home, we are happy to help via phone or email.
Q: How many people will each menu item serve? A: We offer 2 entree sizes:
1) 6-Serving size which will serve 4-6 persons and
2) 3-Serving size which will typically serve 2-3 persons.
Q: Can I split my menu items into smaller portions?
A: Most standard sized entrees can be split into 2 dishes of 3-servings each. For more menu variety, a better option is to order a 3-Serving sized package.
Q: Can I order more than one of the same menu item?
A: In most cases you may order up to 2 of a single item. Some items are limited to 1 due to their higher cost.
Q: How do I sign up to have the meals assembled for me? A: Select from the list of "Pickup" packages on the right side of the Order page. Once you do this, you can select a pickup time from our calendar and order your entrees. The meals will be frozen unless otherwise requested. You can pickup anytime up to our closing time on the day you ordered. If you need to pickup at a different time, please call and we'll do our best to accomodate you.
Q: I am planning a dinner party. Can I order several of the same item? A: Our mission is to help you in any way we can. We welcome the opportunity to help with dinner parties, company picnics or other special events. Simply call us and we'll be happy to make special arrangements for you.
Q: Can I adjust the recipes to make them more or less spicy? A: Absolutely! One of the great things about our service is that you can make the recipes your own! Start with our family-tested recipes and add a little more of this or a little less of that to tailor the dish to the tastes of your family.
Q: If my family has food allergies, can I still use Supper Sensations? A: Please let us know of any food allergies when you register. You may review any of the food labels in our store before or during your session. Many of our recipes do contain common allergens such as milk and nuts so knowing your specific needs will help us serve you. We also list all the ingredients for our recipes on our website. You can reach the ingredients list by clicking on the ingredients link on the Menu page.
Q: What do I need to bring to a session? A: You will need to bring a laundry basket or cooler to take the dinners home to your freezer.
Q: May I bring wine or other adult beverages to the session? A: We provide refreshments at each session. In respect for others at regular sessions we ask that customers do not bring beer, wine or other alchoholic beverages to regular Public Sessions. Customers may bring adult beverages to Private Parties.
Q: How much freezer space will I need? A: Twelve standard meals will typically require approximately 1 to 1-1/2 shelves of a freezer. Meals are stored in space-saving, freezer-friendly ziploc bags and aluminum foil containers. If you have limited freezer space you may want to start with a 6-meal package to ensure you have sufficient space. For safety, it is important to freeze your meals as soon as you get home, until you are ready to cook them.
Q: I'm not sure if I'll like this. Is there a way for me to try it? A: Our 3-meal package is designed to give you an opportunity to try us out without having to commit to a full 12-meal package and still experience some of the variety and convenience we offer.
Q: If I cannot make my scheduled session time, can I reschedule?
A: Yes. We ask that you reschedule at least 5 days in advance but we understand that life happens and will be happy to work with you. Just give us a call.
Q: Can I bring my children with me to the session?
A: We ask that children be at least 12 years of age to attend a regular session. Every month we schedule Parent/Child sessions where children 5 years-old and up are invited to participate with a parent.
Q: Can I bring a spouse or friend with me?
A: Absolutely! We welcome guests. Due to limited space, we only ask that you limit your guests to one per session. If you wish to bring more than one, please call us to make sure we have sufficient space in the session you plan to attend.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We accept Visa or Mastercard at the time you schedule a session, or you may mail us a personal check. Please mail checks to arrive at least 5 days before your scheduled session date.
